Anning Ye received her MA in Cultural and Social Change in the University of Southampton, UK, and a certificate of graphic and web design at The Center for Digital Arts at Boston University, USA. She always feels a natural affinity for images and words. It was in her mid-forties that she found an exciting opportunity to freelance professionally. She opened Nolan Art Studio in Shanghai which initially provided decorative paintings and other art works. Now the studio is more focused on graphic and web design. The creativity it allows her to express makes her feel truly fortunate.
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Anning is also a translator of several books. She will be glad to tutor any English-speakers in Mandarin while they work or study in Shanghai, and help them get around with the local cultures.
